IMPORTANCE OF WATER

   IMPORTANCE OF WATER

I was just passing through the street when I saw people filling water from public taps. They were filling water for their domestic purpose. Water is important for life. I saw some people wasting water. People pollute the water by throwing dirt in it. Nowadays, Bagmati River is in very bad condition comparing to the past. Nepal is the second richest water resourceful country in the world, nevertheless people are thirsty and there is no electricity. The question is “why we are not able to use our water resources effectively”. It is because the people of our country cannot take out any way. Some people don’t know the importance of water. We must teach them the importance of water. Water can produce electricity, used for irrigation, used for transportation and many more. Water is one of the basic needs of life. The other name of water is ‘life’. We have many rivers which come from the snow clad mountains. People are dying because of thirst and some of them die because of drinking dirty water. Some diseases are water-borne. We have many ponds, lakes, rivers etc. We should help people to clean water and teach them to make optimum use of this natural resources. This is how I define the importance of water.
