Modern Trends in English Language

In this modern world people have less time. They want to save their time as much as possible. They are always busy. They have to send many texts and messages. People like to send as short messages as they can. They want to write short messages with all the meanings in it. So they start using acronyms. Acronyms are short words which have the same meaning. The meaning of the word is not changed by using acronyms. We write 'great' as 'gr8', 'and' as 'n', 'please' as 'plz', 'your' as 'ur' and 'because' as 'bcoz' and many more. Acronyms save our time. As time goes on there is advancement in all aspects. Acronyms are advancement in English language and literature. With the change of time and other development works, there should also be change in the advancement of language and literature. It not only saves time it is also handy and reliable. It saves a lot of space and the meaning of words is also same. For e.g. - if we have to wish our friends birthday instead of writing 'happy birthday my dear friend and many - many happy returns of the day ' we can write 'hapi bd to u my dr frn n many*2 hapi rtrns of Th day'. The meanings of both the sentences are same and time and space is saved. Army uses acronyms then why can't we civilians use it? Therefore in my opinion we should use acronyms and modernize the English language and literature with time.
